Tassimo T20 by Bosch – One machine, over 40 possibilities

I was surprised when the doorbell rang today and it was the UPS guy. I didn’t know what it was until I opened the door and saw the big box with it’s beautiful big letters,

I was so excited! It was my TASSIMO T20 that I have been waiting for. If you don’t know what a TASSIMO is, it’s a brewer that makes single servings of different drinks including coffee, cappuccino, latte, crema, tea, espresso and hot chocolate, with just the touch of a button. TASSIMO offers an extensive selection of distinct North American and European brands, including Starbucks® premium brand coffee varieties. Mine looks just like the picture to the left, AND it came with an extra splash cover and cup stand (picture to the right) in mint blue.

I’ve seen advertisements on t.v. for the TASSIMO BrewBot, which makes 7 different variety of drinks. My T20 makes more than 40 drinks from 13 distinctive beverage brands, including Milka, Gevalia, Maxwell House, Suchard, Mastro Lorenzo, Twining’s®, Kenco, Jacob’s, TAZO®, Nabob, Carte Noire and Seattle’s Best Coffee®. TASSIMO even satisfies your coffee-house coffee cravings with a great variety of Starbucks brands – including New Cappuccino Primo and Latte Primo.

I spent the day making hot chocolate for my kids with leftover SwissMiss packets using hot water from the Tassimo. Plus, the Tassimo T20 has a button to add tap water to cool down your drink if it’s too hot. The T20 has an easy to remove 67 oz. water tank and it only heats up the water as it’s making a drink, so there is less wait time and no pre-heating required.

From the info sheet:
Through patented technology developed and designed by Kraft Foods, the TASSIMO brewer reads the bar code printed on each T DISC to ensure optimal brewing conditions, including the exact water amount and temperature. Because the brewing takes place inside the T DISC, consumers can prepare different drinks, one after another, with no flavor transfer from cup to cup. This ensures first-cup freshness and consistent taste every time.

With Christmas coming up, it’s nice to be able to have this wonderful brewer around so that everyone can drink what they want – in less that 60 seconds. And Tassimo wants you to have that opportunity. One lucky reader will receive their very own Tassimo T20. The MSRPs range from $129.99 to $199.99 – not a bad present to get!

To enter this awesome giveaway, simply leave a comment between now and Sunday 12/12/2010 at Midnight CST, telling me which color splash cover/cup stand you would want* if you won a TASSIMO T20. Unfortunately, this giveaway is open to US Residents only.

*There is no guarantee on which color brewer/splash cover the winner will get.
**I was not financially compensated for my review, I did however receive the Tassimo T20 for free to review and post my honest opinion.
